There you go. My calves are too big for most of the boots.
You also get a bonus of my sexy hand with the tan mark of the clock I usually wear to time my runs. hahaha.
I haven’t run any races. I’m really looking forward to those extra-credit races because they are in trails and I’ve never run near where they take place so it will be interesting!
Appart from blisters and scratches I have suffered from running-related sciatica twice due to over-contraction of my glutes.
It helps to keep me sane during exams. I use it as an outlet to my emotions, which has made me a more balanced person. It has changed my relationship with my body, because I used to hate my legs for how they looked but now I loved for what they can do. And to that you can add all the health benefits.
In summer I use running shorts (and since my clothes are already packed I found a similar pair online)
And then I use one of my 3 running tops (you can see the yellow one in the picture below, the pink and the purple ones are already packed):
I also use a pair of running socks!
In winter I use long running pants and some of my old PE t-shirts or sweaters depending on the weather. I need to invest in a pair of long running socks or wear two pairs.
Trail. Because is not as hard on the joints as the street, it offers a great variety of routes where I live and you also get to see bunnies! What else can you ask for?
I recently hit 500 followers. I was thinking of ways to show how grateful I am for each and every one of you and I thought it would be cute to do a little giveaway. It’s a vegan starter-kit themed giveaway (although you don’t have to be a vegan to enter!).
The winner will receive:
- my 5 favorite Luna bars
- my 5 favorite Lara bars
- a nut milk bag with instructions on how to make your own almond milk or other types of nut milk
- a mix CD with my favorite work out songs (decorated by me, of course!). I’m currently into remixes of indie pop for pump-up music :)
So yeah! Nothing huge, but I love you guys so much that I wanted to say thank you.
To enter, just reblog this once and I’ll randomly choose one person on August 18th at midnight. You have to be following me to enter! Good luck!
Don’t let weight loss run your life. Yes eat healthy. Yes workout. Don’t miss a chance at spending time with friends or having a relationship because you need to workout or you worry about eating out. It’s hard not to obsess sometimes but not obsessing can get you amazing things and to amazing places.
Tripping? I’m clumsy so I try a lot but I have never fallen.
Then we have that time when I got lost and picked a different route and then I had to look for my dad because he took the right route and he was about to pick the car and come out to look for me in case something bad had happened to me.
Or when I said a too-friendly hey to a woman and her dog because I mistook them from someone different. I think that’s the most embarrasing thing.
But if someone had been there to see it the most embarrasing one would have been the jump I did (I think it was accompanied by a squeal) when I saw a snake in my path, then I realised it was not a viper and I was like “thank God nobody saw that”.
Ladies and gentleman these are my babies.
They are a pair of Reebok Zigtech Premium Zigblade (I had to look at the box because I had no idea what kind they were).
I love them because they give you kind of a “bounce” when you walk and make you feel weightless. I also blame them of the little muscle fatigue I feel while running even when I feel it afterwards. I really like them. I was looking for a pair of Nike but I found them and now I’m in love.
