Guess who has been running?

The weather has been amazing lately for afternoon running. I get home from my afternoon classes, get ready and go (if I sat anywhere I wouldn’t probably get up).
As I have already told you I have re-satarted the 10K plan.
This are the first three days:

Hey there!
I am trying to focus on studying. I have decided to just keep running and my SD trainning (which starts again tomorrow) and not worry about fitting pilates or yoga. I’m so stressed and worried right now.
I’ll post quickly about my runs so far and study some more before I go to bed.

Long run. 40 minutes, 4.5 K. I decided to go through a new route. Uphill. I’m glad I survived.

Tempo run. 30 minutes, 3.59K. I am really proud of this run. I thought I was going too slow and dying at the same time but I kept pushing a got a 93% accuracy :D yay! I had to stop a bit after the tempo because I was feeling dizzy and nauseous but after I while I got back on and finish the workout with the 5 min slow jog cooldown.

Fartleks. 22 minutes, 2.96 K. I don’t like fartleks or tempo runs but I know I have to do them.

Easy run. 25 minutes, 2.86K. Tried to go super-easy (which is hard for me) because the previous days had almost killed me and tomorrow I go back to SD.
Look the beautiful conditions I run in:

Tomorrow and Thursday will be SD and I won’t run until Friday (rest day will be Wednesday this week).
And on Friday I’ll update a new playlist! :D I have to decide what songs to put into it!

:D
I’m back to running!!
And I will get back to Pilates and yoga later.
Now I am off to study, but before that a recap of my run:
- I didn’t choose the route I had planned because there was the same car again in the middle and as I am highly paranoid I decided to avoid it completely because it’s better to be safe than sorry.
- The first drop in speed in the green zone occurred because I was jumping tried to avoid junk people had thrown in the middle of the track. I even found one shoe.
- The second one happened when I was going uphill in a really soft terrain, followed by more uphill running. I was literally gasping for air and I used all my willpower not to stop.
- I met my horseback trainer and I chatted for a bit with him, hence the stop. But I walked afterwards and I loved talking to him
Now my knee hurts but I’m going to blame it on the humidity.
Being day 8 means a new playlist: I will put it together tonight or tomorrow. I’m wondering what time I’ll make it to bed if I manage to complete all the stuff I want to do.
Tuesday was SD class :D Since I am a senior I got to throw people around instead of being the one thrown. yay!
Wednesday was awful. 6 hours of class in the morning and 4 in the afternoon. After that it was home, have dinner, sleep.
Thursday was meant to be SD class. Instead I had to go to a meeting. ¬¬
Friday. Run!

Saturday. Run :D And then The Hobbit :D :D

Ok. This was not my best run. I was about to die and I was just not fast enough. If you don’t know by now I hate hate hate tempo runs but I know they are good for me. Anyway, maybe I should just walk briskly in the warm up so I can try to push more in the tempo zone. I don’t know. It was hard but I didn’t stop and I’m proud that I wasn’t going really slow but just in the brink of the desired pace.
After the awful month of November I am going to kick December’s ass both study and exercise wise and to get started this is what I did today.
- Run. 26 minutes. Intervals
.
This is from mycoach (adidas) because that’s the app I’m using right now with my runs.
- Pilates. 30’
- Yoga. 10’
This is one of those weeks were I have to go to bed at 22.30 in order to sleep 8 hours so I’m not going to be here a lot but I still love you and I’ll probably contact the amazing people out there at some point this week (I believe probably during the weekend).
Keep on being awesome :D
I felt I hadn’t run in a huge amount of time when it was only a month…in the past I could have gone a month without running like it was the best thing in the world and now I miss it :D
It was rainning but I thought it had stopped, so I got all geared up with my music and tracking app in my new phone and I got out and it was dizzling. I hadn’t gone through all this trouble to stay at home, so I went out.
I felt like a badass because I was out in the rain and people were with their umbrellas and looking at me like I was crazy and I was like “this is what dedication looks like” (they don’t need to know that I hadn’t run for a month, ok? hahaha) and then, as I was coming back home and had 7 minutes or so left it started poruing buckets. I couldn’t see anything and then on top of that my glasses started to have condensation on them, which made matters worse, so I got hoe 4 minutes earlier than I should have but I guess it’s not a big deal.
I ran 4.29 Kms in 40 minutes and my fastest km was 7’ 43”. My average speed was 6.41 Kms/hour.
I could barely move afterwards :D
Easy run 29’ 24”
I thought I was going to puke some times, others I couldn’t breath and I tripped because there wasn’t enought light.
But I kept going for 4.23K (2.63 miles), finishing them with a 44” sprint of 160m (0.1 mile).
Now I’m going to fuel and hydrate my body.
I’m sweaty and exhausted, but I’m happy and alive.
Today I was supposed to wake up at 7.30 to go for a run first thing in the morning. BUT IT WAS DARK!!!! I thought it was going to be some light, but the sun wasn’t up yet and I run in trails, so I couldn’t go and slept instead.
I went running instead this afternoon. Enough of sitting in my sorry ass and more ass kicking to participate in the race in 15 days!!
Today was a 44’ 6” route. I thought it was going to be cold, because this morning when I went to buy my friend a birthday present it was cold and it was from 10.30 to 12.00, so I dressed up with long running pants and a T-shirt, but it was 27ºC outside, so I was hot all the time.
Anyway, my aim for this route was to do 6K and I almost did it. I’m not really sure because the landmarks I used during my run are not in Google maps, but I’m pretty sure I run 5.89 K (3.66 miles)! So I’m really happy about that!!
And even when I felt like dying I finished with a 30” sprint of 129 m (0.08 miles).
I’m also happy about having discovered another race in Valladolid in October. It’s a 8K in memory of some deceased firefighters. I want to run at least one race every month! :D

Running schedule!
8 days ago I went running in the same route as today. I run for 3.91 kms (around 2.4 miles).
Today I did 4.62 kms! (2.87 miles) and in 0.97 kms (0.6 miles) I went up 30 metres (66 feet), which is a 3.1% incline.
I’m really proud of myself right now, I can’t help it. I feel that goal of 5k in under 30 minutes coming closer and closer. :)
